I cannot recommend Cindy enough! She was our relator for almost a year. We started out looking for a small starter home, then a cottage, then eventually our long-term family home. She met us where we were at during each stage of this journey and worked hard to find us the best listings. The best part about Cindy is her honesty. She clearly cares deeply about finding you the best place for YOU and your needs - not about a sale. She pointed out so many things we never would've noticed in homes that made them not the right fit and saved us from a regrettable purchase. When my mother was first diagnosed with cancer in July 2024, it came as a terrible shock to our entire family. We had absolutely no idea what the road ahead of us would be like, but knew that even though we didn’t want to, and the whole process would be incredibly painful, we’d ultimately have to sell the family home. We knew about Cindy through a friend of a friend. We reached out to her early on to get her thoughts and suggestions even though she wasn’t technically working with us yet. She was so compassionate and thoughtful given the terrible situation we were in. She gave us incredible advice such as taking outdoor pictures during the summer when the house was looking its best—the house had a pool and beautiful gardens which couldn’t be appreciated if the house went for sale during the winter months. Sadly, my mother passed away in January 2025, and we reached out to Cindy again when it came time to sell. She suggested we put the house up for sale in February when the market was picking up for the spring season. She helped us through the selling process, including advice on keeping up the house over the winter and suggestions for declutterring rooms that contained a little too much furniture. She gave us side-by-side comparisons with other houses we would be “competing” against, helped us pick a realistic price point that we were comfortable with, and kept us from pricing ourselves right out of the housing market. Since the house was shown during the winter when snow and salt could easily be tracked into the house, she ensured everything was clean after each showing. She again gave great advice when it seemed like offers were falling through or buyers were coming back with low-ball offers we weren’t happy with. It was a nerve-racking, nail-biting experience. However, thanks to her hard work to ensure the house looked its best and that we’d priced it properly, we received a price over asking. My family were all pleased not only with her dedication and professionalism, but with her compassion in getting us through what could have been a very challenging experience at one of the worst times in our lives.
